No. The most Apple will do is give you 10%. You can sell your device then use the proceeds towards a new one.

You can recycle your iPod, and get a gift card for a fraction of the value fo your old iPod, but Apple offers no outright trade in option.

Your best bet is to sell it privately, you'll get more for it that way, and use the money to buy the 6th gen iPod.
You can trade in an iPHONE 6 for an iPHONE 7, but not a several year old iPod for a new one.
